RBI New Update-
The Reserve Bank of India recently reported that there are still approximately 6.577 crore rupees 2000 notes in the hands of the people of India after the presentation of the general budget. It is being said in the RBI report that after the withdrawal of 2000 notes from circulation on 19 May 2023, 2000 notes worth 98.15%, so far to be deposited. But, however, 1.75% of notes in 6.577 rupees are still with the people at present.
All of you must have known that after the banning of 2000 rupee notes, RBI has given the facility to exchange 2000 rupee notes in all the banks of India till 7 October 2023.
