The TVS Raider 125 gets a 124.8cc, air-and-oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is good for 11.4 PS at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It is coupled with a 5-speed transmission enabling a smooth and responsive ride.
The Raider 125’s most notable feature is the Start-Stop System, which automatically turns off the engine when at a stop or at low speed and restarts it once the clutch is engaged, enhancing fuel efficiency. TVS says this function, along with the bike’s Eco and Power riding modes, helps riders strike a balance between performance and mileage. Its 67 km/l mileage makes this bike suitable for daily rides.
Latest Technologies And Features
The Raider 125 comes loaded with features that improve convenience as well as riding experience. A digital instrument cluster with a multitude of information is also displayed, including speed, fuel level, position, trip data, and so on. The Raider 125 top config also gets TVS SmartXonnect, which lets riders connect their smartphones to the motorcycle over Bluetooth for turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and even ride analytics.
The bike is also equipped with a USB charging port to allow riders to charge their devices while on the go. The engine cannot start with the side stand down due to a safety feature.
Braking And Safety
The TVS Raider 125 also aims to be safe, using front disc and rear drum brake combinations for progressive stopping. The CBS (Combined Braking System) is designed to provide balanced braking and improve the rider´s security.
Pricing And Variants
It is offered in several variants, with prices commencing around ₹95,000 (ex-showroom, India). The SmartXonnect discs type is dearer by a nominal amount and adds features such as Bluetooth and a digital console.
